About me

My name is Bartosz Wlodarczyk and I am originally from Poland. I have lived in England for more than 12 years and I have been a British citizen since 2015. I have lived with my fiancée Magda and son Olivier in Borough Green for more than 7 years.

I have been running a small taxi business in Sevenoaks for nearly 10 years now and recently I also started working as a Revenue Officer for Southeastern Railway.

To be more involved and help improve local life in the community I became a Parish Councillor in 2016. I campaigned with local councillors, Mike Taylor and Tim Shaw and our MP Tom Tugendhat for east facing sliproads on the M25 near Sevenoaks to take national traffic and air pollution out of our villages.

As a member of the Basted Mill Public Open Space Committee we manage and protect this beautiful green area so that everyone in the villages can enjoy it.

Wanting to give more back to my community I recently became a governor at Grange Park School, a specialist school for children and young people on Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Currently my duties are:

*Borough Green Parish Councillor

*Basted Mill Public Open Space Committee Member

*The Parish Partnership Panel Committee Member

*Joint Parish Councils Transport Consultative Group Committee Member

*Borough Green Traffic Action Group Member

*Kent County Council Volunteer Support Warden for Seal

*Governor at Grange Park School, Wrotham

Spring Cleaning in Borough Green

On Saturday 24th of March 2018, members of Borough Green Baptist Church, Borough Green Parish Council and the Public met at Borough Green Baptist Church and equipped with litter pickers , scattered in all directions across the village. In one of the rare breaks in otherwise wet weekend, happy volunteers aged 10 to 90 collected 25 bags of rubbish, 5 road signs, and aching backs, but were treated to Andrea’s tea and cakes at the end. I wonder how long it will stay clean?
